this statement "The cost of development will fall and as experienced developers become more productive their salaries will rise" seems contradictory to me. If *anyone* can code salaries should drop. Supply of people who can write software goes up with same demand clearly makes price go down.
I don't believe it's a contradiction because you need experienced developers to effectively use these tools. Most definitely not anyone can simply use these tools and produce enterprise grade code. It's still going to need experienced developers that understand the foundations, the right architecture and patterns, etc. to provide the best prompt....
